Overall
When we asked the front desk officer for something she kept on saying: "Just a moment, I will ask .."
I almost could not breath in the single room: It was so small, that I could not sleep.
Our room was located near the bar (the space in between of the windows): My God the corridor was so very narrow, so dark, the light was very dim, even if u would say that it was for the helloween preparation it would not fit because we had a seminar .. !! We still needed a well lighted environment ....
I just like the location, it's in the center of everything.
Please apply more lights ....
I will never miss LA RICA! It was the time that i really wanted to go home .. My room at home is much better than the room there .. !! Oh my god, what an old hotel !!!
Date of Stay: October 2009 (seminar) Liked: liked the location .. it's in the center of everything; liked the food, but they didn't cater it Disliked: the Front Desk Officer in charge on Oct. 12. 2009 at 5pm .. she know's nothing .. !! Would I recommend this hotel to my best friend? no way!

Overall
The La Rica is nothing to look at. Its not in the best position in town and if you were to walk past it, you wouldnt notice it.
Executive Room La Rica Hotel in Tacloban City
Look out the window .. and see another window.
But, its clean, the staff are friendly and its cheap. 1250 php per night per room.
Executive Room La Rica Hotel in Tacloban City
Food is fine, there is a bar on the top floor if you need one and you are central to everything in town ..
I would stay there again quite happily.
Date of Stay: April, 2008 Liked: Price and position for centre of town. Disliked: No views. Would I recommend this hotel to my best friend? most likely.
