SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

Overall:
"Very laid back atmosphere"
We went to Yolanda's, a seafood restaurant right on the beach.
The food was really nice, but my favourite thing about the place was hearing the water lap onto the beach. I miss that sound and it made me feel a little home sick
The vibe was very laid back. I think it might become a favourite Sunday arvo destination.

"one of the best restaurants in Tacloban"
This place is one of my favorites and whenever I am in Tacloban, I make it a point to always eat there at least once. It has a comfy ambiance and the pleasing staff adds to it.
The food is great and surely, they will recommend their seafood platter, which is actually good for 3-4 people. However, don't bother to enter this place if you have only 500 pesos in your pocket because you'll be spending more than this amount but rest assured, it's worth every peso.
I recommend this place for family or group dinners because their servings are quite large similar to Fridays. If you happen to visit Tacloban, make sure to drop by this place.

"Tacloban Fine Dining"
Mayor Romualdez took us to a dinner treat there, the owner, was very welcoming only he insisted on us ordering their special platter of god knows how much it was, the meat platter was particularly good.
I don't eat seafood but i guess its nice also. the crew were very polite and attentive. I'd like to eat again there someday when i go back to Tacloban.
OCHO SEAFOOD AND GRILL

Overall:
Ocho Seafood and Grill is a restaurant here in the city of Tacloban. Tacloban is located in the eastern part of the Philippines.
It is owned by a young Chinese couple. Ocho means eight and eight is a lucky number for the Chinese, hence the name. The restaurant boasts its wide variety of sea food dishes. In fact, it is what people from out of town come for.
It is one of my favorite restaurants in the city not only because of the delicious food they serve but also because of their fast service.
When you enter the restaurant, you will be given a choice from the fresh sea foods they have on display on the cooler.
After ordering what you like and what type of dish you would like to be cooked, you will only have to wait ten to fifteen minutes. Then voila! Food is served.
Among my favorites are their grilled fish and grilled pork. I also love their baked oysters and baked scallops.
From the first time I have tasted their food I couldn’t wait to the next time that I would be back to eat at Ocho.
I guarantee you that you would feel the same as I do once you’ve sampled their offering mouth watering dishes.
It’s simply the place to be when it comes to sea foods here in our city.
I was at the newly opened Rafael Farm yesterday afternoon for a pre-nuptial shoot of Tiny and Melissa who is getting married on April.
I was really stoked of the place. It just got better and better… The aura of the place is magnificent. You just feel at home. The entrance to the restaurant is amazing… It’s now operational and they’re open from 10AM until 8PM daily. Guys I am inviting you to visit the place. They serve coffee and pasta’s at the moment… as well as buffets during lunch.
I having nothing but praises to the vision of Rene and Joel for providing Taclobanon’s a wonderful place to go. The very first in Leyte and Samar. It’s just 20mins from the City.
We stayed till closing and the ambience of the farm at night is priceless. They have a website that can be found at RafaelFarm.com but it’s still under construction at the moment.
Guys, here’s a tip… check out their restrooms… unbelievable concept. Everything is first class. I can even sleep in there… heheheh...

As we arrived early in the afternoon there were not yet many patrons in the restaurant. A waiter greeted and ushered us to our table. The first thing I noticed when we entered the restaurant was the bright red wall. The place was decorated with Christmas ornaments. It had dim lighting and in every table had red place mats.
I still had a full stomach at that time, so, I just ordered a Hamburger (P105). The burger comes with a home-style french fries with a tartar sauce and a few slices of tomato and cucumber. The fries weren't that crispy but the burger was good enough.
Ed decided on Spaghetti Carbonara (P150). I tried to taste it, it was creamy and simply delicious.
However, service was a little bit slow knowing that there were only few people present. But the atmosphere was relaxing and cozy that we didn't mind at all.
This place is great for family occasions. There's no dress code here, come as you are.

Overall:
I read about Guiseppe's in a travel guide under fine dining restos. Curious, we decided to take a look and see what it has to offer.
The place is a bit classy by the city's standard. In lieu of panels, panoramic windows serve as walls giving the pedestrians a glimpse of the resto's interior; alternatively, it gives the diners a view of the busy street. Inside, subdued lighting was utilized giving the resto a cozy and intimate mood. However they are lax with dress code; come as you are.
Favorite Dish: As starter, we ordered Enselata te Mareta. As the name suggests, it is fresh cucumber with shrimp and sliced squid dipped in pickle-relished mayonnaise served with pieces of crackers. Although I shy away from anything with mayo, I surprised myself coz I enjoyed the appetizer.
We also ordered Chicken-breast Pizza which turned out to be a let down. There were very few slices of chicken and the crust was not crunchy.
For main course, we had Ravioli alla Panna and it was really a good choice. The dish is made up of square-shaped fresh pasta with pork filling topped with white sauce and ham slices. It easily became my favorite such that until now, the mere thought of it makes me crave for the dish.
