WHAT PEOPLE IN ABROAD THINK ABOUT DUTERTE
OLD RON AND FIRES

Firie is a sun kissed Pinay who loves to travel. She hails from Tacloban City and lives alternately in Quezon City and Tacloban. Ronny is a pogi German who is half Pinoy - half Waray. He has lived in the Philippines for many moons. He is currently staying at Friendly's Guesthouse in Malate.

We have the first and only Guesthouse in Tacloban City! It’s an airconditioned house with six dormbeds, a Japanese room for two, and a garden. A kitchen and laundry area is provided for the guests. There is free coffee and tea for the guests. Broadband Internet and Wifi are also available for free. We also have a barbecue grill for the guests use.

The Guesthouse is 3 minutes away from the New Bus Terminal - where you get transportation to anywhere in Leyte and Samar.

Explore Samar - activities includes caving (small caves to a 3-day 2 night caving), trekking (easy to hard), kayaking, surfing, snorkeling and diving. See waterfalls and rivers in the heart of the jungle. Be one of the few who has been to the areas.

See Leyte - the WWII memorablias, beautiful San Juanico Bridge, wall climbing, surfing, trekking in Lake Danao, skimboarding, diving and off to explore the five Waterfalls of Biliran.

We can arrange outdoor guides for you.

HOW TO GET THERE:

From the Domestic Airport
- Take a 20-minute, P12.00 jeepney ride to the heart of the city. Get off at McDonalds. Hop in a smaller jeepney with a signboard that says "Kassel Abucay"( apporox 5 to 10 minutes). Tell the driver to drop you off at Kristina. Once there, you have the option to get on a pedicab to bring you to our address or get to us on foot.

From the Bus Terminal
- Walk north towards the direction of the main city. About 200 meters from the Terminal to your left is a paved subdivision road that is Kristina. It's a stone throw away from the Terminal.

Please call, email or text us if you are going to our place so we can fetch you from the street corner, or village gate.

We can arrange transportation to and from the airport, and for sightseeing around the city.

RATES:

A night at Ron and Fire's costs only P300.00 per person for a dorm bed, and P600.00 for the Japanese room which is good for 2 persons.
